Letters / National identity
I am a student from Northumbria University doing my undergraduate dissertation on Shetland national identity.
I am aiming to answer three questions relating to national identity, Nordic identity and potential for autonomy relating to Shetland.
I was directed to the Shetland News’ letters page as a means of getting in touch with local people willing to fill in my online questionnaire.
It is short and quick, only 13 questions, and aimed at getting some data to accompany more in depth interviews that I am also conducting.
