Letters / Let them go
Thank you to George W Pottinger of Hamnavoe for such clarity in the independence debate. (Inequality; SN, 01/04/14)
The Yes campaign does have lots of questions to answer with a fair bit of “suck-it-and-see” to many of the issues – but the No campaign does not live in the real world.
They just do not understand Scotland, and are made up of folk George alludes to who dominate the selfish murky world that Westminster is.
The issue of the currency is irrelevant, as we will end up with some shekel or trinket to trade with.
As is the issue of banks and some captains of industry relocating their HQs to the epicentre of the UK’s class riddled inequality. Ditto those MPs who have abandoned the notion of a society in favour of Margaret Thatcher’s social mantra that “there is no such thing as society, only a collection of individuals”.
Let them all go and we can sit back and watch as they all squash up to get their noses in the trough.
Well done, George for one powerful and to the point reason to vote Yes.
