Letters / Majority didn’t oppose
In response to Rosa Steppanova’s letter (Calculator broken after all, SN, 21 May 13).
I will not disagree that the majority of people who attended there consultations were against the project.
But, in most cases, people usually only attend these sort of events to show their opposition, it’s not common to attend events of this type to show support.
And given the majority of Shetland didn’t oppose the project strongly enough to attend a consultation or register an opposition in one of your many polls, then my calculator is working fine, thanks.
