News / Carbon coaching

THE CARBON Trust Scotland is hosting a free carbon coaching workshop in the Shetland Museum and Archives next month.

The workshop, which is supported by Shetland Islands Council, is designed to assist local businesses in their efforts to reduce their carbon footprint.

The workshop, commencing at 9am on 10 February, will be followed by presentations to local businesses that have achieved a Tidy Business Award.

Eileen Findlay, of the Carbon Trust Scotland, said: “Our briefings provide businesses with the confidence to embark on emissions-reduction projects.

“Previous carbon coaching events have been instrumental in educating organisations in Scotland about the business benefits of saving energy.”

To confirm a place, or for more information, please contact the carbon trust at 0141 222 2040 or email: carboncoaching@smarts.co.uk
