Rush hour crash

TWO people were taken to hospital after two cars, one pulling a trailer full of sheep, collided at the Brig o Fitch junction north of Lerwick during the rush hour on Monday morning.

Police closed the main A970 road at the junction to clear debris after the collision, which took place around 8.50am.

A police spokesman said that neither of the drivers was seriously hurt in the accident.
