Spectacular display of Aurora Borealis

SKY watchers were treated to a splendid display of the northern lights (Aurora Borealis) on Monday night.

This photo was taken in Lerwick by local photographer Austin Taylor.  Please also note Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system, in the bottom left corner.
