Police appeal for information after serious crash
POLICE are now appealing for information following the crash in Voe on Friday morning which left a man and a woman with what are being described as serious injuries.
The crash happened around 7.50am on Friday on the A970 north of the Mulla junction, and involved a white Suzuki SX4 and a grey Nissan X-Trail.
Emergency services attended, and both drivers – a man and a woman – were taken to hospital for treatment.
The road was closed to allow for enquiries to be carried out and re-opened on Saturday morning.
Sergeant Calum MacAulay said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash or saw either vehicle prior to get in touch with officers.
“I’d also ask that those driving in the area at the time with dash-cam footage review this to see if it has captured anything that could assist with our investigation.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0645 of 24 July, 2026.
