Unexploded ordnance discovered in Whalsay
SUSPECTED unexploded ordnance has been discovered on the shoreline in Whalsay.
Police Scotland issued a short update early on Saturday morning, urging the public to stay away from the shoreline between Newpark and Da Banks.
Teams from the coastguard and the Ministry of Defence are expected in the area to safely dispose of the item.
