News / Police name 83-year old victim of Burra crash
AN 83-year old man who died in a car crash on Thursday night has been named as Magnus Sinclair.
Police were called to the scene of the single vehicle crash in Bridge End, Burra, at around 8.50pm on Thursday night.
Emergency services attended and Sinclair was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed to allow for crash investigation to be carried out and reopened at around 5.40pm on Friday 3 April.
Road Policing Sergeant Neil MacDonald said: “Our thoughts remain with Mr Sinclair’s family and friends at this difficult time.
“I would like to thank the public for their support during our enquiries.
“We continue to appeal for anyone who witnessed the crash, has dashcam footage with may assist our investigation, or anyone who was in the area at the time and has information about what happened, to come forward.”
