POLICE have closed the road in Burra near the Bridge End Outdoor Centre this morning (Friday).

The road was closed in the early hours of Friday morning after a serious road traffic collision.

Police said the road was closed in both directions as a result, with enquiries being carried out.

Drivers were requested to avoid the area for the time being.
