Transport / NorthLink warns of Sunday disruption to ferries
NORTHLINK is warning of likely disruption to Sunday night’s ferry sailings.
The Hjaltland‘s sailing from Lerwick to Aberdeen is currently under review, with a “high probability of cancellation”, NorthLink said.
The Hrossey also may miss Lerwick from its Sunday night schedule due to forecasted adverse weather conditions.
Instead, she could sail from Aberdeen to Kirkwall at 5pm, potentially then returning to Aberdeen once cargo operations are complete.
An update is due to follow on Saturday morning.
NorthLink has said that services could be disrupted through to Thursday 26 March.
