Entertainment / Applications sought for Scotland’s Home of the Year TV programme
ANYONE with a distinctive house in Shetland is being invited to apply to take part in the TV show Scotland’s Home of the Year.
The team behind the BBC show is on the hunt for properties which could feature in series nine, which is due to be broadcast in 2027.
They are looking for “unique, quirky and distinctive homes” across the country – “no matter the size or budget”.
“From grand conversions to tiny eco-homes, traditional Scottish croft houses to city dwellings, we are hoping to continue the search for outstanding homes embodying design, style and amazing architecture,” they said.
Some Shetland properties have featured on the programme in the past, including two which were on the show in 2021.
Anyone interested in applying can find more information here, with a deadline in place of 3 April.
