Transport / NorthLink warns of further disruptions
WITH the weather staying seasonally rough over coming days NorthLink has issued an update of changes to its timetable.
After service cancellations last night (Tuesday), both ferries will sail tonight (Wednesday) but the Hrossey heading south is expected to be two hours late into Aberdeen.
The northbound service is expected to run close to the published timetable.
On Thursday, due to the weather forecast but also harbour restrictions, the Hrossey will depart Aberdeen for Kirkwall and Lerwick at 3pm, two hours ahead of schedule.
The southbound Hjaltland may be late in arriving at Aberdeen on Friday morning.
Freight services will also be affected on both days with NorthLink warning of further possible disruptions well into next week.
