Transport / Ferries cancelled, NorthLink confirms
NORTHLINK has confirmed that tonight’s (Tuesday) ferry sailings between Shetland and Aberdeen have been cancelled due to weather conditions.
Tomorrow’s southbound passenger sailing is under review, with the possibility of a late departure. The northbound sailing is scheduled to operate as timetabled.
It comes after three consecutive days of cancellations last week due to windy weather. Sailings resumed on Saturday but they came with some significant delays.
