Paid for contentShetland filming returns to Lerwick

FILMING for the upcoming series of the Shetland crime drama will return to Lerwick on Monday (30 June), focusing on two locations.

A stop/go traffic hold will be put in place at the Breakwater (RNLI Pier) between 6.30am and 4pm.

Access to the pier for RNLI crew will be maintained at all times in case of emergency.

Later in the afternoon, a stop/go traffic hold will be in place at Grodians to enable safe exterior filming at a property in the area. Restrictions will last from 2pm to 6.30pm.

Holds will be short and be kept to an absolute minimum. Traffic will be allowed to flow freely once holds are released.

The production team is apologising for any inconvenience this may cause.

Any queries should be directed to assistant location manager Andy ‘Mod’ Ross,  07963 713 446, e-mail: jamiros@aol.com or assistant location manager Lyall Gair, 07786 653 859, e-mail: lyallgair@yahoo.co.uk
