FIRST Foot Soldiers performed a superb sold-out show at the Clickimin on Saturday night, the band’s biggest headline show to date.

Supported by (the) 3310 and Steven Robertson, the four-piece were joined on stage by a whole host of well-known faces from the local music scene.

Tickets for the festive spree were in hot demand through the weekend, and those lucky enough to snap them up were treated to a feast of cover hits throughout the night.

The band tore through AC/DC’s Thunderstruck before a rendition of the Christmas favourite Fairytale of New York, saving their famous medley for the end of the set.

Slade’s Merry Christmas Everybody saw the night out, with the capacity crowd heading home delighted.
