BBC Filming / Crime drama filming moves to Cott on Friday
AS FILMING for the latest instalment of the popular crime drama series Shetland continues, the ITV Shetland production team advises people to be aware of increased traffic in the Cott road in Weisdale on Friday.
Scenes will be filmed at a property at Heglibister between 1.30pm and 22.30pm.
No specific traffic restrictions will be necessary or in place this time, but the production team’s technical service vehicles will be parked at various places along the Cott road.
“Please be aware of those, a significant increase of related traffic throughout the area and perhaps increased pedestrian footfall along what is a single track road with passing places – so please drive with caution,” they said.
Anyone with specific queries or issues relating to this should call unit manager Chris Groves 07946 826 721 or Shetland locations manager Davie Gardner on 07867 654 509.
