Most bus services now cancelled

Viking Bus Station.

MOST public bus services this afternoon (Tuesday) have now been cancelled due to the weather.

The exceptions are as follows:

  • Service 1 (Town service)
    Service operating to the published timetable.
  • Service 4 (Lerwick-Scalloway) – partial service
    Partial service operation this afternoon. Buses will depart the Viking Bus Station at 1415 and 1715 only. There will be no further services after this.
  • Service 9 (Lerwick-Walls) – suspended until 1715
    The 1715 service will operate with a small vehicle.

The council’s inter-island ferries are also affected. The latest information can be found here.
