News / Girlsta crash driver arrested
A TWENTY five year old man has been arrested after his car left the A970 road near Girlsta just before 6am on Boxing Day.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash and an ambulance was not required.
After being traced by officers the driver was arrested in connection with a number road traffic offences, Police Scotland confirmed on Sunday.
A full report has been forwarded to the procurator fiscal.
Meanwhile, police in Shetland are appealing for witnesses following a vandalism to a car windscreen on Clickimin Road, Lerwick, sometime between midday last Saturday and Monday morning.
