A planning application goes in and over 200 people object to it. At the meeting, the convenor warns councillors they could be exposed to legal action if they try to block it. Really??
Planning committee approves Viking Energy construction compound application
Can you remember any other instance where an application has had this level of objections and still been waved through – under threat?
It makes you wonder what on earth the SIC signed Shetland up to that they are in such fear of the developer. I think the public has a right to know.
