Police / Witnesses sought after road accident

POLICE are looking for witnesses following an accident on the Tingwall straight on Friday night (20 September).

Police are especially keen to talk to the drivers of a dark Land Rover style vehicle and a Volkswagen Golf style car which may have been involved.

The incident happened at around 8.10pm on the A970.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or knows anyone who was in the area is encouraged to contact Lerwick Police Station on 101.
