News / Another car damaged in town

ANOTHER case of damage being caused to a vehicle in Lerwick has been reported to the police.

Officers say a red Toyota Aygo suffered damage to the front offside bumper and front wing mirror at some point between 5pm on Wednesday (26 June) and 11am on Friday (28 June) on St Olaf Street.

Anyone with information relating to the incident is asked to contact police on 101 or attend at Lerwick Police Station on Market Street.

On Saturday the police also issued a request for information following damage to a car parked on King Haakon Street.

A number of other similar incidents have also been reported to police in recent months.
