White House vandalised again
Graffiti was written on the council headquarters in November.
POLICE are investigating another report of graffiti being written on the walls of the ‘White House’ council headquarters in Lerwick.
The damage was caused to the Shetland Islands Council offices at 8 North Ness between 5pm on Monday and 9am on Tuesday.
It comes after graffiti was written on the building back in November.
The ‘White House’ was evacuated in 2016 over safety fears, but staff have started to move back into the building.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. Alternatively people can attend Lerwick Police Station, quoting reference number NL0133/19.
