Letters / Does anyone recall a school contact with Japan?
I had a visit recently from a gentleman in Tsuyama City, Japan. He recalls that in the mid-1960s his school in Japan communicated with a school or schools in Shetland.
The aim was to share information about their different cultures. Do any of your readers, teachers or pupils, recall this initiative?
I would like to pinpoint a date to see if anything was written down about it. I would be grateful for information so that we can help.
