News / Vehicle vandalised in town

POLICE are investigating the vandalism of a Toyota Yaris car in Lerwick at the weekend.

The vehicle was deliberately scratched and had two of its tyres punctured with a sharp implement.

The incident is said to have taken place on Leslie Road between 5pm on Friday and 9.30am on Saturday.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, or they can get in touch with Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
