Islanders treated to rare solar eclipse spectacle
ISLANDERS were able to enjoy as once in a generation solar eclipse on Wednesday evening despite extensive cloud cover on the wester horizon.
Almost 90 per cent of the sun was obscured by the moon at its height at around 7pm.
