Gallery: Ash caps off busy day of live music at Rising North

AS THIS gallery of photos show, music fans enjoyed a feast of live performances on Saturday at the Rising North festival.

Northern Irish rockers Ash headlined the Clickimin with a more than able support cast which included local leading lights The Revellers and First Foot Soldiers.

Ash have achieved two number one albums in the UK and are well known for tracks like Girl from Mars and Shining Light.

Earlier in the day an all-ages event took place across the Clickimin’s main room and bowls hall, with acts such as Ten Tonne Dozer, Rack n Ruin and No Sweat on the line-up.

The festival finished up with a free gig in the Mareel cafe/bar this afternoon, with the Dead Pans topping the line-up.
