THERE was a wide range of local music talent on show at the Clickimin in Lerwick on Saturday as the main event of the Rising North festival took place.

Around 15 bands performed in the main room and bowls hall from afternoon to night, with Suppository Business rounding things off.

It comes after a number of free events around Lerwick’s pubs and venues on Friday night – while a warm-down event is taking place in the Mareel cafe/bar between 2pm and 7pm on Sunday.
