News / Late programmes to ease isles through winter
BBC RADIO Shetland will kick off its series of late night winter programmes on Monday.
Over 100 community presenters will be involved in bringing shows covering topics from food and health to history and literature to the airwaves.
This winter will see the return of popular programmes like Shetland’s Larder, Beyond the Briggistanes and Speakeasy.
There will also be a number of music shows too, dipping into genres like fiddle and accordion, jazz, world sounds and americana.
The shows will air from 6.10pm to 7pm every day after Good Evening Shetland on 92.7FM.
They will also be available online and on Mixcloud after their broadcast.
