Town thefts

POLICE are looking for information after receiving reports of two separate thefts in Lerwick.

Several Mikita grinders were stolen from a portacabin within in a scrap yard in Staney Hill at some point between 6 August and 28 August.

Items were also stolen from a garden on Law Lane between 11pm on 25 August and 11am the following day.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111. Alternatively, they can attend Lerwick Police Station.
