A NEWLY opened shop and café in Cunningsburgh has been shortlisted in two categories of this year’s Highlands & Islands Food and Drink Awards.
Mackenzie’s Farm Shop & Café, at the north end of the village, opened in June last year.
Now the business, which is run by local crofter Hazel Mackenzie, is one of three finalists in the independent food and drink retailer of year category and one of six shortlisted for the new business award.
Winners of all 14 categories will be announced at the awards ceremony on 5 October at the Kingsmill Hotel in Inverness.
