News / Crash blocks road at Gulberwick
THE A970 road was temporarily blocked on Tuesday evening following a two-car accident at the north end of Gulberwick.
According to Police Scotland there were no serious injuries reported from the crash that left one vehicle in the ditch and the other blocking the road a mile south of Lerwick.
The collision was reported shortly after 5.30pm and one lane of the main road south was cleared by 6pm. It was 6.30pm before the road was fully opened.
A man will be reported in connection with a road traffic offence.
