Tingwall crash
A NINETEEN-year-old driver of a black Kia Picanto was taken to hospital in Lerwick with non-life threatening injuries following a two-vehicle accident at Tingwall in the early hours of Sunday.
Police said they were called to the A970/A971 junction at around 2.20am. The other vehicle involved in the accident was a grey Vauxhall Corsa.
The Kia driver is due to be reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with road traffic offences.
