Cruise season gains steam as Eclipse arrives

ONE of the largest cruise ships due to visit Shetland this summer arrived into Lerwick on Monday morning.

The 318m long Celebrity Eclipse cut an imposing figure as she arrived into Bressay Sound after setting off from Iceland.

The Celebrity Cruises ship, which has a capacity of nearly 3,000 people, is due to return to Lerwick a further three times this season.
