Ferries to leave eight hours early

THE FERRIES to and from Shetland on Tuesday are set to leave eight hours early due to bad weather.

NorthLink said the northbound and southbound sailings will leave at 11am instead of the usual 7pm.

The Hjaltland is due to arrive in Lerwick at 10pm the same day, but the Hrossey should arrive in Aberdeen early on Wednesday morning.

Tuesday’s northbound freight sailing is under review.
