News / Ferry departure altered
SERCO NorthLink has again had to alter its passenger ferry timetable due to the forecast of bad weather.
The ferry operator says the MV Hjaltland, which had been scheduled to depart Lerwick at 5.30pm, will now leave 90 minutes early at 4pm. It will stop in Kirkwall at an estimated time of 9pm before sailing on to Aberdeen at around 10pm.
Meanwhile the MV Hrossey, due to depart Aberdeen for Lerwick at 7pm on Wednesday, could be delayed for up to two hours on arriving in Shetland on Thursday morning.
