THE INTER-island ferry service across Yell Sound has resumed a single ferry operation after the service was suspended due to a problem with the Toft linkspan early on Thursday morning.

A spokesman for the council’s ferry services said the service between Toft and Ulsta should be back to the normal two-ferry operation later this morning.
