Is it just Gaelic?

I’m pleased and impressed to hear that some Shetland schools will be teaching Mandarin [‘Bairns enjoy access to Chinese culture’, SN 23/2/16] as well as the other languages, French and Spanish, already being taught .

Can we now expect a protest from Tavish Scott, or is it just the threat of Gaelic that gets him so agitated?
