THIS WEEKEND’S Althing debate focuses on whether commemmoration of the First World War is “unhelpful to the cause of peace”. Speaking in favour will be Alex Wright and Danus Skene, while the motion is opposed by SIC chief executive Mark Boden and councillor Jonathan Wills. The debate, held in the Tingwall Hall, will start at 7.30pm.
