Letters / Walking blindfold
I refer to Douglas Young’s intriguing letter (Trust my timetable SN 10/9/14).
The tone of his letter is entirely in line with recent statements by Alex Salmond, Nicola Sturgeon and the rest of their SNP chums.
They say things, such as being able to keep the pound and retain EU membership in the event of the Yes votes winning, but fail to follow it up with any hard facts as to how this would be achieved.
With them all, it is always a case of “trust me and it will be ok”.
To vote Yes is akin to walking blindfolded into the future.
You may fool yourself, Douglas, but you certainly don’t fool me and most others.
