Peripheral support

I have drawn a map where I have plotted (a) the addresses of members of the Windfarm Supporters Group and (b) the whereabouts of the proposed pylons.

To my surprise, the two groups are in entirely different places.

The pylons are in the centre of Shetland, the supporters on the peripheries.

Can anyone explain this discrepancy?
