Road blockers

With all the controversy about the trucks carrying rock for Sumburgh airport, it crossed my mind that should the Viking Wind Farm go ahead, practically the entire length of the A970 could be blocked for very long periods by special trucks carrying turbine sections and/or blades.

The tractor section on these trucks is as normal, but the trailers can be extended to great length.

Just a thought.
