Private hearing for sex charge

A MALAYSIAN man living in Lerwick has appeared in private at the town’s sheriff court charged with a sexual offence, the details of which have not been given.

Ching Shiong Heng, aged 29, made no plea or declaration and was committed for further examination before being released on bail on Thursday afternoon.
