Weather / Yellow weather warning for snow and ice
SHETLAND will be placed under a Met Office yellow weather warning for snow and ice on Thursday and Friday.
The weather warning, which also covers other parts of Scotland, will run from 6am on Thursday to 11.59pm on Friday.
However the Met Office said while there could be a “medium” impact, the likelihood of impact is “very low”.
The Met Office said showers will turn increasingly wintery through Thursday as a strong northerly wind sets in.
