Court / Trio from Manchester appear in court on drugs supply charges
THREE people from Manchester appeared at Lerwick Sheriff Court last week on drugs supply charges.
Ellie Walker, 22, from Denton, Malachai Blackhurst, 23, from Audenshaw, and Rhys Burke, 22, from Denton, appeared in private on Thursday.
Each faced a charge of being concerned in the supply of drugs.
All three made no plea, were committed for further examination and granted bail.
Shetland area commander chief inspector Chris Sewell said drugs with an estimated street value of £42,000 had been recovered in an operation led by Dogs Against Drugs.
