Facts can be ‘tricky’ things
The SNP candidate in a recent social media video decried what she called “tricksters” making false claims.
Despite only being a candidate for a short time, she has some expertise in this area.
A few weeks ago, she claimed that the SNP gave us the Air Discount Scheme. In fact, the ADS was created by the previous Lib-Lab government, thanks to the work of our former MSP Tavish Scott.
She also claimed that the SNP established the vital Shetland Shellfish Regulating Order – which was in reality another Lib-Lab win for the isles.
In another attack video she claims that the Liberal Democrats are spending £35k on a campaign manager in Shetland. That would be news to us!
Facts can be “tricky” things indeed.
Perhaps we all need to take the stories coming from the SNP with a fistful of salt.
