EDINBURGH got a taste of Up Helly Aa this afternoon (Saturday) after members of two jarl squads took part in the city’s first tartan parade.

Members of this year’s Nesting and Girlsta jarl squad, as well as the 2023 Delting squad, joined in.

Around 1,600 people were expected to take part in Saturday’s parade, which began on the Royal Mile.
