Letters / Question about anonymous article from 1983
In 1983 someone wrote an anonymous article in Shetland Life about the Canadian poet Earle Birney.
According to the writer, Birney visited Shetland around 1979 and ‘stayed with his cousin, who was able to take him on a tour of places associated with his [Birney’s mother] Martha Robertson, who was a sister of the late John Robertson, a well-known diver’.
Does anyone know who the cousin was? Or who wrote the anonymous article? I would be very grateful to know.
