Police / Additional police officers to check pubs during Old Firm match
LOCAL police say they will have “additional officers” on mobile patrol to visit licensed premises during the Old Firm football match tonight (Wednesday).
Officers will be visiting pubs before, during and after the game, Shetland police said.
“Any incidents of criminality and/or anti-social behaviour will be dealt with robustly,” the local force said in a social media post.
The game between Celtic and Rangers will kick off at 7.45pm.
Meanwhile it was confirmed last week that Shetland police has a new area commander.
Chief inspector Stuart Clemenson took up the post on 20 January.
