Health / Mobile MRI scanner results in parking changes at Gilbert Bain
NHS Shetland has advised of temporary changes to the parking arrangements at the Gilbert Bain Hospital in Lerwick as a mobile MRI scanner heads north.
The scanner, which will be in Shetland between 4 and 10 November, will support the enhanced elective care programme that will commence in January 2022.
NHS Shetland said from the evening of 3 November new parking arrangements will come into effect, ending on the morning of 11 November. They can be seen in the image above.
“As a result of this car parking on the site has been reduced by 10% and this will affect both staff and visitors,” a spokesperson said. “Thank you for your help and patience.”
